Look out for the large red and white signs for RAF Welford on the A338 or B4494 and on Sunday’s you will come across smaller green and white signs, marking the route to Four Counties. Set in 11 acres of woodland with 5 towers, the ground offers a wide range of targets, both wooded and over adjacent open fields. The layout is changed every week with a choice of 25 different shooting positions. There is ample parking and clearly marked walkways between each stand. All traps are automatic with markers on every stand to activate traps and score for you. Our 50 target shoots are generally over 7 stands and the 70 targets shoots are usually 9 stands. We do two 100 bird Sporting shoots per year – both 14 stands.

Shoots are held every Sunday of the month, except the third Sunday when the ground is closed or is now designated to the occasional FITASC event. Please see the ‘fixtures’ page to be certain of what’s on, when! For members only there is also a very popular Christmas shoot which is also open to non-members who can pick up the odd prize, here and there! |
| Four Counties was voted 12th best ground in the country by Clay Shooting Magazine way back at the turn of the Century but now benefits from significant further investment with flushable loo’s and extended clubhouse. |
